The Wonder of Being Alive

Hello, and welcome.

At my core, I am an explorer and a researcher. I have traveled across seas and continents and witnessed many of the world’s wonders—from volcanoes to coral reefs, from the Amazon rainforest to the Himalayan mountains.

My journey has also been academic. I have spent years in research across diverse fields, from theoretical physics to experimental systems biology, and more recently, computations and brain–computer interfaces.

Across these domains, a persistent question has guided me: how does lived experience arise from physical and biological processes? Questions of consciousness, awareness, and the sense of self have remained central to my work and curiosity alike.

To engage with these questions more fully, I have long drawn from both Western philosophy and Eastern approaches to life, viewing them as complementary ways of understanding existence—one analytical, the other experiential.

This space is a reflection of that ongoing exploration.

Thank you for your visit,
and until next time—
all the best.
